In the Hall of the Mountain King was written for orchestra by Edward Grieg, a Norwegian composer, in 1867.

It is better known as the theme music to Alton Towers Theme Park. I have arranged this for the Beginner Piano Player at Level 1.

Here are the opening 8 bars of music. The arrangement is 32 bars long. The melody has been simplified to enable the beginner to play it.  The notes are added gradually until the full melody is played in bars 17 to 32.
